On Saturday, May 4th, the Surfrider Foundation: Jersey Shore Chapter is hosting a North Beach and Deal Lake Clean Up with Sierra Nevada in Asbury Park, New Jersey!
Volunteers 21 or older are welcome and encouraged to clean the beach with us. Bring gloves and wear hard-soled shoes. Dress weather-appropriate!! Always stay off dunes and respect wildlife.
On Saturday, May 18th join the New Jersey Sierra Club, Clean Ocean Action, and Surfrider Foundation: Jersey Shore Chapter by joining hands against seismic testing and offshore drilling!
With the recent actions by the Trump administration to open 90% of America’s coastal waters to offshore oil and gas drilling. THIS year is one that holds a great deal of urgency. The urgency to act, stand together, and make a difference. Joining hands on our beaches, rivers, capitol steps, and parks creates that powerful image of the citizens saying NO to offshore drilling. Not just for us, but for generations to come!
