As you can see, this ordinance, if passed, may possibly violate the Public Trust Doctrine and also Executive Order #143 issued by Governor Murphy regarding the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Chapter plans to fight this on the local and the state level. We need NJ DEP to support public access to beaches.

- Call the NJ DEP's hotline. Tell them Deal is trying to restrict public access.
