The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing a new ‘Dirty Water Rule’ that will remove federal Clean Water Act protections for more than half of our country’s remaining wetlands and millions of miles of streams. This puts these critical headwaters at risk of destruction without consequence to those who pollute our waterways to increase their corporate profits.
Please send your comments to EPA by April 15th and ask them to stop this attack on clean water and to get back to their job of protecting public health and the environment. Tell the EPA to reject the Dirty Water Rule and instead issue a rule that is more protective of our nation’s critical waterways.
