The Jersey Shore Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation is sponsoring three of Clean Ocean Action's Spring Beach Sweeps. Come out and help us clean the coasts and beaches for the summer!
The chapter's Beach Clean-up site is at North Beach in Asbury Park. Please arrive at 9 am. Meet at the dirt lot near Asbury Towers
The chapter is also co-sponsoring two marsh clean-ups with Save Barnegat Bay. Come out and help us clean up debris left from Hurricane Sandy. At the marsh sites, please wear boots and bring gloves and garbages bags. If you have a chainsaw, it may be helpful to cut up some of the larger debris. The locations are as follows:
Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Refuge:
40 Herbert Street, Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ
Meet up at Traders Cove Park / Marina
Mud City Manahawkin:
1185 East Bay Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ
Meet up at the parking lot next to Mud City Crab House
