Surfrider Foundation is conducting a massive Cleanup of the Fisherman’s Cove County Park in Manasquan.
9 AM to 12 Noon.
This area still has tons of debris from Sandy including decks, docks, and lots of plastic
The County will bring in trucks and equipment to remove debris. People can park along 3rd Ave near the water, or there is a parking lot to the west of Third Ave. Look for the Surfrider sign.
This is locally known as the FISHERMAN’S COVE – and took the brunt of Sandy’s floatable garbage.
Bring heavy boots and gloves.
