At this time our chapter will no longer be organizing clean-ups of homes in Monmouth or Ocean County. We’d like to thank all of those that have enthusiastically volunteered and have provided their positive energy and support. We realize there are still many in need of help and much more work to be done throughout the region. We feel we have surpassed our abilities to assist at home repairs, but plan to stay heavily involved in relief and rebuilding plans and efforts.

We encourage our members to continue volunteering in cleanup efforts throughout the region. We will post opportunities on our site as they turn up and will be organizing beach and outdoor cleanups as much as possible. If you find yourselves with a free weekend/day/hour we encourage you to go out and self-organize a cleanup. There is plenty of debris to be picked up.
This Saturday January 19th, Clean Ocean Action has organized another Waves of Action Day.
