Build A Rain Barrel Workshop
1623 Whitesville Rd Toms River, NJ 08755
Participants will build their own rain barrel and learn how to install it at home.
A rain barrel is placed under a gutter’s downspout next to a house to collect rainwater from the roof.
The barrel holds about 50 gallons of water which can be used to water your yard and gardens. Rain barrels can help save you money on your water bill, prevent basement flooding, and reduce flooding in local rivers and streams.
Workshop fee is $45 per barrel, however, current Surfrider members will only pay $30.
Payment is due prior to the day of the workshop.
