BEACHFILL / BEACH REPLENISHMENT
The Surfrider Foundation has worked on the issue of beach replenishment since the late 1990’s. Over the years we have slowly but surely educated the public and decision makers about the problems associated with beach replenishment yet the state of New Jersey continues to dump millions into the harmful process.
If you’re new to beach replenishment, we have just what you need to get caught up. The Surfrider Foundation has an online coastal knowledge resource, Beachapedia, where you can educate yourself on all things coastal preservation. To jump right into beach fill, click here!
