We have two Executive Committee positions open!
This is a great volunteer opportunity and resume builder and your chance to help guide the direction of the Chapter. One person may be elected to the committee, preferable someone who has been involved with the Chapter, but we are always looking to have additional committees to help run and execute our programs.
- Secretary Position
- Must be a Surfrider Foundation member.
- Participate in chapter events and attend monthly meetings.
- Work with Chapter Chair to create agenda.
- Take notes at meeting and send mass emails.
- Contribute to campaigns and programs.
- Maintain membership info on Chapter database.
- Send mass emails on MailChimp.
- Social Media Position
- Must be a Surfrider Foundation member.
- Participate in chapter events and attend monthly meetings.
- Contribute to campaigns and programs.
- Keep Chapter Twitter, Instagram and Facebook up-to-date.
- Help to update website on Wordpress and send emails on MailChimp.
*Commitment will be through January 2019. Some training is available.
