Bradley Beach Build a Rain Barrel Workshop!

To register, click here!

Participants will build their own rain barrel and learn how to install it at home. A rain barrel is placed under a gutter’s downspout next to a house to collect rainwater from the roof.

The barrel holds about 50 gallons of water which can be used to water your yard and gardens. Rain barrels can help save you money on your water bill, prevent basement flooding, and reduce flooding in local rivers and streams.

The workshop fee is $45, however, current and renewing Surfrider Foundation members only have to pay $30. To register with the membership discount, please contact Bill at Vicechair@jerseyshore.surfrider.org.

Payment is due the day before the workshop.
Please make check payable to: Jersey Shore Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation
