Long Beach Township is one of a very few towns in the state with poor public access to their oceanfront; in the Loveladies and North Beach sections of town only. Now they have submitted their Draft Municipal Public Access Plan to the NJDEP. If you need to learn more about Municipal Public Access Plans, please see our previous post on it here. We will post of full comments on the plan soon.
The 30 day comment period was supposed to end on December 4th, but we have found that the NJ DEP’s own website for submitting comments DID NOT WORK!
The NJ DEP has agreed to allow two additional weeks for commenting on this plan. And comments need to be submitted to this email address,
