The Jersey Shore Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation has ordered 10,000 dune grass plugs and will be hosting a dune grass planting event in Spring Lake as part of our Rethink the Jersey Shore campaign- promoting better, more sustainable ways towards resiliency.

All are welcome to come out and lend a hand!

If possible, please bring a stick or shovel to help with planting.

A broken broom or rake handle works well. Dress for the weather. One minute demo video here.  

We will begin at 11am and end when we run out of plants.

Please meet at the beach access point at the North end of Spring Lake near Remsen Ave.
