Come join the Jersey Shore Chapter of Surfrider on Wednesday, July 8th for Barnegat Bay Day at the Long Beach Island Foundation for the Arts and Sciences! We will be there, along with more than 20 other groups, with educational programs and hands on activities for children. Terrapin races and marsh tours are among the day's exciting events. Stop by for family friendly fun and food and beverages for all ages!
The festivities start the evening before on Tuesday, July 7th with presentations on oysters, clams, turtles, and more at the Old Causeway Steak and Oyster House in Manahawkin. (1201 E Bay Avenue)
Bay Day lasts from 12-4 and all ages are encouraged to attend!
