Liberty Natural Gas Withdraws Application: Announced on April 24th, effective April 20th (just in time for Earth Day!), the Liberty LNG natural gas port proposed for off the New Jersey and New York coastline has been officially withdrawn, and the federal government has terminated all work on the proposal.

This Friday, the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI) will be holding a public hearing in Atlantic City after announcing their decision to move forward with seismic exploration in search of oil in the Atlantic Ocean.
